Towards a Defiition of Critical Thinking

This article is based on the problems that arise when defining the concepts of critical thinking or critical judgment, precisely in the current context where the expression has gained special importance, even more so in recent years due to the appearance and prolifera- tion of social networks.
Given the multiplicity and disparity of definitions before which the academic finds himself, a brief multidisciplinary bibliographic review of the main conceptions developed to date is proposed, as well as a comparative analysis to establish both the different substan- tial elements, indicators and provisions that appear reiterated in them, in order to offer a global vision of the issue that helps the researcher in his future studies.
