Abstract

The work developed in this paper shows from a feminist and decolonial perspective the women’s empowerment in development cooperation. It is focused on south global visions in feminist diverse theories, specially talking about the necessity of stablishing a new alternative development paradigm focused on the active and participative role of women as a group of study. This area of study of gender and development has to be focused in empowerment with its original vision to get into the real problem, the subordination of women and the masculine domination as systems of oppression in every area of society, even though the diverse context to have into account.
